drum roll please

so i hope the dress can live up to all the hype. i am feeling a bit self conscious now. and i can't seem to get the perfect picture. so pat a pa pum (i am sure that is how a drum roll is spelled)...
and here is lucy modeling it. she agreed to try it on for photos if i let her twirl in it. this girl loves a twirly skirt or dress. and since this one has a gathered slip underneath and the outside is gathered, it has lots of twirl. perfect.
i am very happy with it. ok, i am ecstatic about it. i can hardly wait for easter!

I want one!!! It's wonderful...you know, the more I see little dresses, the more I'm determined to make grown-up versions of these cute things! Hmmm...washed up some fabric for my own clothes making today. We'll see...

Amy it is beautiful! It is very charming on your daughter. This post is making me cry! (sniff, sniff) Please do keep this dress for your daughter when she gets older, I often think about the Easter dress my mom made for me and wish I still had it.....

Amy! it's gorgeous!! (but not as gorgeous as that little darlin' of yours!) Love the picture of her feet that you use for your profile. Baby and toddler toes are the best.
I am sorry about your grandma's health. It's quite alright to have sad posts. It makes you the real, living sweet girl you are. Take care of yourself, including a little time for pampering.
