i finally finished the
project i started last september. no, it did not take me that long to make it, i had just put it to the side for a while. i have no idea why. i finished it last week and was planning on posting it last friday. but, that bug really got me down. did i mention that the bug was the size of the one in franz kafka's
the metamorphosis? i haven't even had the energy to knit. i mean, you knitters know it does not take too much energy to do that.
nancy can nurse and knit at the same time! anyway, enough about being sick (although i am typing this with tissue in hand!)
i could not get the detail of the quilt to show very well in a photo, but here is a close up of the quilted flowers above the little girl...

i am hoping to get some inspiration soon. i really want to do some sewing. right now our house needs a good straightening. honestly, i am having a hard time focusing on that. i would rather be sleeping.

oh i love this too! you are constantly impressing me, especially when you are determined enough to sew on your sickbed. :)
