i completed my october block for one quilt. this will be making its way to beth this afternoon. the inspiration came from some of the gee's bend quilts like this one. the colorway beth chose was a lot of fun to work with. here is the full block...

OOO I really love the fabric combination! I saw the documentary on the Gee Bend quilters, I was blown away by the their stories and the beautiful quilts.
