mommy: do princesses like to read?
lucy: yes.
mommy: do princesses like to play with dolls?
lucy: yes. do you know what else princesses like?
mommy: what?
lucy: they like to look in the mirror and look at they lip balms.
mommy: yes. yes they do. now give me a hug.
folks, that is where we are right now. the girl loves some lip balm. preferably sparkly.

Lucy is a doll! I really loved the 2 year old stage. My girls never went through the terrible twos, so it was all about baby dolls,plastic high heels and of course princesses :) I'm getting a bit emotional,since my youngest will graduate from high school in a couple of weeks,and I remember her being two like it was yesterday!
