michael took the kids to the park for a few hours today. i was able to finish lucy's quilt top. oh, and i did more of this. why is it about thirty seconds after finally settling on a color, doubt creeps in? and why, after settling on a different color, does the same thing happen? and why, after two days, do you go back to your original choice?

How did you get into my head? I swear I just had this *exact same* thought process with the last top I sewed. Settled on 3 different options before returnin to the very first choice. Sigh.

about the 3D chalk. It does work, but not as good as it works on the commercial. It may work that good if we had been able to draw the pictures on black top. But we just had the concert.

The quilt top is beautiful! What paint color did you pick? I am trying to pick something similar for my bedroom. The color I put in the laundry room is great. But when I tried it in the bedroom, it looks less green and too blue. So I am back to fandeck. However, til school is done...next week, I am not allowing myself to start even part of a project.
