A couple of weeks ago I picked up this little table at the thrift store just up the street from our house. It was eight bucks. My original plan was to paint it a nice turquoise blue and put it in our living room. However, the spot I had picked out for it dwarfed the poor little table. Fortunately, I needed a bedside table for Lucy's room. So, I decided to paint it a soft pink, Bubble Bath by Behr to be exact. I love the way it turned out and I think it looks lovely with the wall color we picked out for her room (Robin's Nest by Benjamin Moore).
I love the little "pocket" under the table. I am sure there will be some fun collections placed there by Lucy. I have a couple of other fun things to share from her (very unfinished) room, but I will wait to share those next week, mainly because I do not have photos yet and I am too lazy to go take some right now :) Have a beautiful weekend!

a girl can never have too much pink. and i really adore the blue on her walls.
That is a beautiful shade of pink!! It really does look pretty next to that blue. Love the polka dot sheets on her bed too.
What a perfect little table! I need something like that for my bedside so I can attempt to manage the may magazines tossed on the floor.
wow... I think I might need more pink in my life... or more pockets, or more furniture with pockets!
Love it!. Can't wait to see the other things you are doing in her room. Glad to see you are getting settled in.
i love it - just enough sweetness!
