life's like a...

bag of Scrabble tiles? I don't know, but I found this little mess that Larkin and Lucy left in my soon to be new sewing room. New sewing room? Oh, yeah. We moved a couple of weeks ago! We made the decision right after Christmas to move to North Carolina. My husband Michael accepted a position at a church here. Needless to say, a lot has been going on with us in the last two months! I kept wanting to update the blog, but always felt overwhelmed by said update. I have noticed something about myself - when there is big news to share, if I don't share it right away, I get overwhelmed by the passage of time as it relates to the news and I avoid it. Silly, right? And as I thought about returning to the blog (oh, how I have missed it...and you), I kept trying to come up with the perfect way to explain my absence and our big move. And I realized that I needed to just do it. Just share it and jump back into the blog.

So, how do Scrabble tiles relate to the post? Well, as soon as I saw them I thought of how the image relates to my life right now-A lot of jumbled information bathed in light. Yep. As much as I am surrounded by chaos and uncertainty in a new place, I know that God is in control and He is lighting this path that we are on. And I am thankful.

You are so right....What looks like a jumbled up mess to us is perfectly laid out to the Lord! I'm so glad he knows the 'whole picture' of our lives & not just the snapshot that we look at....
I'm happy for you and your family!
