sweet tooth sunday on wednesday

I meant to post this on Sunday, but I am still trying to get back into the groove around here. Being sick can really throw the house out of order. I am finally getting caught up on laundry and cleaning. Boring, right? I do see some food related posts coming since we had a great trip to the farmer's market yesterday. So what is up with the photo of chess cookies? I'll give you a hint...
It is Not Yo' Mama's Banana Pudding from Paula Deen. You can find the recipe here. This is one of my favorite desserts to make. One of the things I like about it is the actual pudding. It is very thick and rich. No runny pudding here. And it is so simple to make and it always gets rave reviews.

  3. I made it! And I even took an Amy Johnston style photo of the final result, but it didn't turn out quite like yours. The photo, that is. The pudding...yum!
