chalk it up

i bought the kids these small chalkboards for school. ok, only larkin uses it for school, but i knew that lucy would have to own one, too. last week i let them get out the stamps and ink and personalize their boards. it was a lot of fun. above is some of larkin's math work from this week. i am so proud of him!
it was clear pretty quickly that these chalkboards needed a home, so i decided to make each them a pouch to hang on the back of their school chairs...

they both enjoy them and lucy has decided to also keep some lip gloss in her pouch. why am i not surprised? happy friday everyone!

Your children's names are just lovely. If I would have any more children I would love to name my daughter Lucy.
