how's that for blogland reality? i could have let you all think that we had a perfect little fresh squeezed morning with no accidents. but, what is the fun in that?
and for those of you who like to read about what lucy is saying these days, here is a photo of a play-doh heart she made this morning...
she came to me crying because she couldn't remove it from the cookie cutter...at least that is what i thought. so, after removing it for her and it not satisfying her, here is our brief conversation...mommy: there you go. you just needed to push it out of the cookie cutter.
lucy: (still crying and pointing to the uneven play-doh) no, it's not. look.
mommy: baby, that just adds character.
lucy: (distraught) i don't want character!
mommy: (to myself) oh, but you do.
she soon got over this disappointment and went on to "mowing" the grass. check out that fashion! oh, and if you look closely, you can get a little glimpse of our rooster, cary grant.

oops spills and dents
Tell Larkin & Lucy I could use some orange juice, a red heart and some help with the grass mowing. This was so sweet. I miss you and I am ready to see you all.
how cute is she ?!! Love her little mower.
it really doesn't make sense how little juice comes from an orange. it makes me appreciate being able to run to the grocery store and just buy some in a carton. i love that pitcher by the way.
and what a cute picture of lucy mowing! now that school is out and i'm (reluctantly) letting gillian pick out her own clothes, she looks way more "eclectic" than this most days--it's as if she goes in her drawer and picks out the things that clash the most and then puts them on. soooo funny.
miss you tons...
I love Lucy's lawn mower :) Also love the name you gave your rooster!! I love chickens, they are too funny.
How cute!

I just love fresh orange juice. It always reminds me of going to visit family in Florida. Have a wonderful Sunday!
