we started on saturday by making springy rice krispy treats followed by the coloring of eggs
in an effort to be green, i shredded and accordian folded construction paper for the easter baskets. this took a little time, but was worth the effort and i will be saving it for next year.
we also made our annual easter lollipops. my aunt made these when i was little, and i love to carry on the tradition with larkin and lucy.
and as usual, my kids are not looking at the camera at the same time. are everyone's kids this way, or just mine?
it looks as if larkin has told lucy that something quite unbelievable will be in the egg.
and for the moment you have all been waiting for...twirling...
i hope your easter was as wonderful as ours.

Such lovely pretty colours. The dress looks like it was a total hit! Twirl factor is all !
in that bottom picture lucy looks SO much like you. wow. so glad you guys had a fantastic weekend. (and instead of looking different directions when i'm taking a picture, my kids usually just start fighting...i think i would trade you. ha)
Yeah! I love a dress that twirls. Looks like a successful Easter.
awe...so sweet. not to make you cry or anything, but that pic of the two kids standing up makes larkin look much older than he is...say 6 or 7.
forget my carrot cake, you need to teach me how to make those lollipops. how fun!
i agree with janelle...larking looks so old. he's losing his baby face. but he also looks terribly sharp. or spiffy as a lady from my childhood used to say.
What beautiful Easter pictures!!! And the twirling...she is just a darling. My daughter wasn't much into dresses....she liked bugs and dirt!
soooo cute! that little dress is great!
Hey Amy, It's Nicole, Janelles roomy......I've been exposed to the blog world, and thought I'd check yours out.......Wow, I'm impressed. The dress is so gorgeous, as Janelle has been sharing with me throughout the process. Your so talented. I hope to acquire some of your many skills as I am entering into mommyhood. Good Job, Lucy looks gorgeous!
beautiful job!
