when we put larkin to bed tonight, i told him that this was his last night going to bed as a four-year-old and that when he wakes up in the morning he will be five. so, why am i, the one who shared that little bit of information, the one who is a little surprised? i mean, i knew it was coming. but, tomorrow?as for my lack of posting...the bug that lucy got last week, quickly made its way to me. and i have been down for the count. we even had to postpone larkin's birthday party. so, look for more birthday bits coming soon.

They grow so fast. I know, some days, not fast enough, but it happens all too fast and then they are gone. Treasure it all. I hope you feel better soon. It was a good two weeks for me.
There is something so "big" sounding about the age five. What is it? Kindergarten maybe? The fact that their age takes up a "whole hand" now. I hope you guys are all recovering well.
oh, i'm sorry you got sick, too. wish larkin a happy birthday from us. i remember holding him when he was just a few days old. i can hardly believe it's been five years.
oh happy birthday larkin! sorry i missed it until it was too late and you are (hopefully) in bed giving your momma some much needed rest. sleep tight everyone and get better so you can party like a race-car driver!
