puzzled

what has occupied my time since the new year? you guessed it, puzzles. in an effort to clean out the buffet in the dining room, michael and i pulled out a puzzle that we bought a few years ago and never opened. we used to put puzzles together more often, but it isn't quite as easy with kids around...unless you don't mind a missing piece or twenty seven. the second i finished the puzzle, i drove down to store to buy a new one. well, i finished that one this morning, and after spending the next hour or so helping the kids put various puzzles together, i now feel empty. what will i do tonight while watching television? (we have watched the thin man two nights in a row while putting the last puzzle together) will i knit? will i forgo television and sew? will i read a book? nah, i'll just watch television and look at the completed puzzle on the card table and wish i had another one to start. maybe i'll get my groove back tomorrow...
