a little something
i knitted this little scarfette using yarn that i won from samantha. the yarn is a four-strand skein that knits up so quickly on size 17 needles. (knitting on such large needles is so rewarding for a knitter like me who needs to check her progress after every other row!) the ribbon is from a vintage spool that i bought years ago. i would go with a different color ribbon if i had the choice, but this is the closest match that i have. i am happy to report that i did start back to work on lucy's baby doll quilt yesterday and i am so excited to finish it!

does it look really chunky like that because of the multiple strands of yarn? boy i have a lot to learn. i love that chunky look...and i LOVE the color. i bet it looks amazing on you!
I love it and think the ribbon is perfect. Such a beautiful colour. I need a quick project like this I think !
That's a beautiful scarfette. The yarn is scrumptious! Such goregous bright colors, a perfect pick me up for grey winter days. Regarding your profile... Cary Grant movies are great, he's such a joy to watch. As for the Thin Man movies, I always wondered how they got anything done drinking and smoking so much, I think Asta was a major figure in solving the whodunits.
Okay, how much must I pay you to make me one of these lovely things? I feel like this is one of those items that to have it and wear it would take me one step closer to the stylish girl in my head that I want to think that I am, instead of the mom-in-whatever-jeans-are-clean that I am in reality. So, would you like to start a scarfette business? ;)
What an adorable scarf!
I love the scarfette...gorgeous yarn and colors.
A beautiful shot of it as well.
That is so pretty. I feel like I really need one of these.. Just don't know how to knit. Dang!
These colors are so great.
this is the best scarfette I've seen so far, I love how you used the ribbon as a closure, I just might make one for myself this weekend, thanks for the idea!
I want it!
