1940s finds

i found these two books while in mooresville, nc last weekend. waggles was published in 1945. i love the color scheme. the black, aqua and red are the only colors throughout the entire book. and the eyes still glow in the dark! poppy was published in 1942. i love old fairy books. not some of the more current scary fairies - no, i like poppy-style fairies. oh, and arthur rackham fairies. (that is another post all together!)
