sunflower and atome

Meet Sunflower and Atome (pronounced Atom). A couple of weeks ago I checked out Sew Darn Cute: 30 Sweet & Simple Projects to Sew & Embellish from the library. Lucy immediately started flipping through it and loved the Square Bear project and shared it with Larkin. They both decided they wanted one. I took them to the fabric store and let them each pick out their own fabrics. It really was a lot of fun to watch them match things up.

Well, the finished bears were a bit hit. As a matter of fact the bears seemed to come to life. They also were quite busy trying to fit in...

{Sunflower thought the shower was a fun place to hide.}

{Atome wanted to see what all the fuss was about Lego Star Wars.}

{Sunflower couldn't help but try out some hair clips.}

{Atome decided to take in a good mystery.}

{Speaking of a good mystery, doesn't Frank look a whole lot like Ricky Nelson?}

{Sunflower wanted to try her hand at a bit of art.}

{Atome decided to check the weather.}

As you can see, Sunflower and Atome have been quite busy and quite happy to be here.
