Yes, January was a few months ago but I just finished Nanette's block for One Quilt. You can see her inspiration here. She wanted us to try a bit of sashiko embroidery on the block. 
I enjoyed the embroidery and it was quite simple. Now I need to work on Sarah's for March and I will be all caught up!

I just found this picture in Flickr while searching denim quilts. I couldn't quite believe it, as Tremains Flour Mill in Bathurst is just down the road from where I used to live and we actually have one of the flour bag stamps framed on our kitchen wall. We bought it for next to nothing at the clearing sale when the mill closed down about 20 years ago. What a small world and amazing coincidence.
