i love krispy kreme doughnuts. it is a weakness. my mama and daddy also like them. so, when they came to visit this week and we went out to celebrate my daddy's birthday, it was a given that the birthday cake would actually be doughnuts. not just any doughnuts, but hot-fresh-from-the-conveyer belt glazed doughnuts. we live really close to a location that allows you to see the process of the doughnuts rising through them cooking and traveling through the "curtain of glaze" and then into your hands. eep! for those of you who have never experienced this, here is a glimpse...

i am reading this is total disbelief that you actually have TWO WHOLE DONUTS left over? what? this is completely unheard of. don't you know you are supposed to eat until you're feeling sick? ;)
ReplyDeleteHere in California, they closed down most of the Krispy Kreme locations :( Sadly, the dumb carb craze did them in.
